A friend of mine is from Alabama and he’s a fan of Crimson Tide. I’m not that familiar with Alabama basketball. Although I know that Mo Williams played for the University of Alabama. After a little bit of research, I found out that some great players were also from Alabama. Players like Richard Hendrix, Keith Askins, James Robinson, Buck Johnson, Mykal Riley just to name a few.

I do collect caps and shirts so I started looking Alabama apparel in google. This friend of mine owed me one because I helped him with some tech stuff (HTML/PHP) so would it be a big deal if I ask him if he can treat me with one of those University of Alabama shirts?

The other day, I met my friend over dinner and I showed him a photo of that grey shirt and started saying, “Hey, would it be nice if a good friend of mine would send me one of these”. And we started laughing. Of course it worked. He said he’ll send it to me once he’s back home. Awesome dude!

That’s another shirt on my collection. Well I do hope this collection of mine would be worth something someday. But I guess it’s not as big of a value compared to real collectible items, specially the ones that was signed by some player who then become NBA superstars. I guess it would be worth a lot to have a signed shirt back when an NBA superstar is still a nobody. And I guess it will be better if you got a photo of the guy signing your shirt as it becomes a great documentation or proof of its authenticity.

Hmm… to all Alabama basketball fans. Who do you think would become the next NBA superstar? I guess that’s the right person to have my shirt signed.
